Nettastoma melanurum is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de toveralen (Nettastomatidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1810 door Constantine Samuel Rafinesque.

黑尾丝鳗（学名：Nettastoma melanurum），又称黑尾鸭嘴鳗，是辐鳍鱼纲鳗形目鸭嘴鳗科的其中一种，分布于东大西洋，从葡萄牙到几内亚湾，包括西地中海。西大西洋，从墨西哥湾到圭亚那和巴西南部海域，深度0至1647公尺，本鱼体型细长，前端呈圆柱形，后端扁平，尾部细长而尖，头长占体长的33-40%，吻部细长，下颚细长而尖，延伸至眼后缘下方，眼睛较大，前鼻孔管状，位于吻部前端，后鼻孔开口于眼眶前缘上方，上颚突出，牙齿圆锥形，相对较小，呈带状排列，上颚前端有一簇牙齿，闭口时部分牙齿外露，口腔顶部中央有一齿丛，中央齿较大，无胸鳍，背鳍起点位于鳃孔上方或后方，背鳍和臀鳍与尾鳍汇合，侧线完整，分布于头部和身体，肛门前有44-49个孔，吻部前鼻孔和眼眶之间有2对孔，体色银白，中鳍边缘黑色，体长可达79.8公分，栖息在深海沙泥底质水域，为底栖性鱼类，属肉食性，生活习性不明。
