Exodon paradoxus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de karperzalmen (Characidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1844 door Müller & Troschel.

亚马逊河鹿齿鱼，为辐鳍鱼纲脂鲤目脂鲤亚目脂鲤科的其中一个种，为热带淡水鱼，分布于南美洲亚马逊河及托坎廷斯河流域，体长可达7.5公分，栖息在底中层水域，生活习性不明，可作为观赏鱼。
