Macrothemis delia is een libellensoort uit de familie van de korenbouten (Libellulidae), onderorde Anisoptera (echte libellen). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld door Friedrich Ris in een publicatie uit 1913.
De soort komt voor in Mexico (Tabasco, Chiapas), Guatemala, Costa Rica, Suriname en Brazilië (Bahia).
