About this species
Erythrodiplax connata is een libellensoort uit de familie van de korenbouten (Libellulidae), onderorde Anisoptera (echte libellen). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld als Libellula connata door Hermann Burmeister in een publicatie uit 1839.
De soort komt voor in de bossen en steppen van Patagonië (Zuid-Chili en Zuid-Argentinië, de noordgrens van zijn verspreidingsgebied loopt door de provincie Mendoza).
