About this species
Erythrodiplax paraguayensis is een libellensoort uit de familie van de korenbouten (Libellulidae), onderorde Anisoptera (echte libellen). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld als Diplacodes paraguayensis door Johann Friedrich Nepomuk Förster in een publicatie uit 1905.
De soort komt voor in Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, Frans-Guyana, Brazilië, Bolivia, Paraguay en Argentinië.
