About this species
Erythrodiplax venusta is een libellensoort uit de familie van de korenbouten (Libellulidae), onderorde Anisoptera (echte libellen). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld als Micrathyria venusta door William Forsell Kirby in een publicatie uit 1897.
De soort komt voor in Colombia, Venezuela, Suriname, Brazilië en Bolivia.
