The large-toothed conger (Bathyuroconger vicinus, also known as the largetooth conger) is an eel belonging to the family Congridae (conger/garden eels). It was described by Léon Vaillant in 1888, originally as a species of the genus Uroconger.

Bathyuroconger vicinus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van zeepalingen (Congridae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1888 door Vaillant.
De soort staat op de Rode Lijst van de IUCN als niet bedreigd, beoordelingsjaar 2009.

深尾鳗（学名：Bathyuroconger vicinus），又称深海尾鳗，为辐鳍鱼纲鳗鲡目康吉鳗科深海尾鳗属的鱼类，由莱昂·瓦扬于1888年描述，最初是Uroconger属的一个物种 。分布于东大西洋维德角群岛、几内亚湾、纳米比亚以及南非好望角附近海域；西大西洋墨西哥湾东部沿中美洲和南美洲海岸向南延伸至圭亚那；印度洋-太平洋区，从东非至夏威夷海域，深度50至1318公尺，为深海底栖性鱼类，体长可达88公分，肉食性，生活习性不明。该物种的模式产地在东大西洋佛行角群岛。
