Pterocarpus marsupium, also known as Malabar kino or Indian kino, is a medium-to-large, deciduous tree that can grow up to 31 m (102 ft) tall. It is native to India (where it occurs in parts of the Western Ghats in the Karnataka-Kerala region and in the forests of Central India), Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

Pterocarpus marsupium es una especie de árbol originario de la India, Nepal y Sri Lanka, puede crecer hasta los 30 m de altura, pertenece a la familia de las Fabaceae, subfamilia Faboideae, tribu Dalbergieae. Se le conoce como vijayasar o kino de la India.

囊果紫檀（学名：Pterocarpus marsupium），又称囊状紫檀、马拉巴尔紫檀（Malabar kino），是紫檀属的一种落叶乔木，高度可达31米（102英尺）。它原产于印度西高止山脉、尼泊尔和斯里兰卡等地。它可以用做嫁接小叶紫檀的砧木，成活率高达96.67%。
