The oriole blackbird (Gymnomystax mexicanus) is a species of bird in the family Icteridae. Its genus, Gymnomystax, is monotypic. It is a medium-sized yellow and black bird found in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela, where its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, and swamps.

El chango oriolino o turpial maicero (Gymnomystax mexicanus) es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Icteridae. Su género, Gymnomystax, es monotípico.
Se lo encuentra en Brasil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guayana francesa, Guyana, Perú, Surinam y Venezuela.
Sus hábitats natural son bosques subtropicales o tropicales de tierras húmedas, zonas de arbustos subtropicales o tropicales, tierras bajas húmedas o inundables con pastizales, y pantanos.

黄头拟鹂（台湾作黑背黑鹂，学名：Gymnomystax mexicanus），是雀形目拟鹂科的一种鸟类，属于单型的黄头拟鹂属（学名：Gymnomystax）。
黄头拟鹂体重约98克，翼长约12.52厘米，喙宽度约6.7毫米，喙厚度约9.8毫米，嘴峰长约32.4毫米，跗跖长约33.2毫米，尾长约10.50厘米。
黄头拟鹂是留鸟，栖息在森林，它们是杂食性动物。它们分布在哥伦比亚东部至委内瑞拉、圭亚那、巴西亚马逊州和秘鲁东北部。
