Heteropoda venatoria es una especie de araña perteneciente a la familia Sparassidae. Fue descrita por Linnaeus en 1767, originalmente bajo el nombre Aranea venatoria. El nombre del género Heteropoda se deriva del griego y significa "patas desiguales", el nombre de la especie proviene de la palabra latina “venatoria” que significa cazadora, siendo en conjunto “cazadora de patas desiguales”.

白额高脚蛛（学名：Heteropoda venatoria），又称狩猎巨蟹蛛或白额高脚蛛，广东话称为蠄蟧，台语称为蟧蜈（白话字：lâ-giâ，或作，或以中文音译写作喇牙、旯犽），亦有异名岷山巨蟹蛛、石门巨蟹蛛、鳞片巨蟹蛛、彭氏中遁蛛等，是巨蟹蛛科巨蟹蛛属的一种大型蜘蛛，原生于全球的热带地区，近代又因人为活动扩张至部分副热带地区，为全球分布最广的高脚蛛科动物。常栖息于室内、外墙壁。该物种的模式产地可能在温暖的美洲地区。是大型的室内蜘蛛，必要时会吐丝但不结网，是家居昆虫蟑螂的主要天敌。
