Coccoloba uvifera es un árbol leñoso de tamaño medio, usado también como arbusto ornamental, por su tendencia a crecer en horizontal. Es de la familia Polygonaceae. Su hábitat natural son playas de la zona intertropical americana y el Caribe, incluida Florida.

海葡萄（学名：Coccoloba uvifera）是一种灌木植物，主要分布在美洲及加勒比海的海滩，包括佛罗里达州及百慕达。它最高可达8米，但大部份标本都只有2米多少许。它的叶子很大、圆形及革质，直径达25厘米，主脉呈红色，衰老后的叶子会整块转为红色。树皮平滑及呈黄色。夏末会产出绿色的果实，直径约有2厘米，像葡萄般是一蔟的。
海葡萄不能抵御寒冷的天气，较能忍耐阴暗的天色，而对盐则有高度的抵抗力，故它们有时被种植来稳定海滩边。它们亦会作为观赏植物。其果实会用来制造果酱或直接食用。
