Mermessus tridentatus is a species of dwarf spider in the family Linyphiidae. It is found in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. It was described by America arachnologist James Henry Emerton in 1882.

Mermessus tridentatus is een spinnensoort in de taxonomische indeling van de hangmatspinnen (Linyphiidae).
Het dier behoort tot het geslacht Mermessus. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1882 door James Henry Emerton.
