About this species
Emblemaria biocellata, the twospot blenny, is a species of chaenopsid blenny found in coral reefs around Venezuela, French Guiana, and Colombia, in the western Atlantic Ocean. Males of this species can reach a maximum length of 3.8 centimetres (1.5 in) TL, while females can reach a maximum length of 4.1 centimetres (1.6 in) SL.

Emblemaria biocellata is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van snoekslijmvissen (Chaenopsidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1970 door Stephens.

双斑隆胎鳚（学名：Emblemaria biocellata），为辐鳍鱼纲鳚形目烟管鳚科隆胎鳚属的一种，分布于西大西洋委内瑞拉及法属圭亚那海域，深度10至30米，本鱼体延长，头短钝，无刺，吻部有2条光滑的纵脊，口腔顶部前侧各有一排牙齿，眼上有1条触须，鼻孔有短须，无侧线、无鳞片，背鳍硬棘22枚、背鳍软条14-15枚，雄鱼背鳍前部呈帆状，第5硬棘最长，臀鳍硬棘2枚、臀鳍软条22枚，雄鱼体深褐色，身体上部有9个深色斑块，雌性体浅棕色，体上部有9个深色斑点，头部有圆形黑斑，背鳍前部有斜深色横带，第4至6硬棘间有2个深色眼斑，沿尾鳍有5个横带，体长可达3.8公分，栖息在礁石区，通常躲在海绵中，以浮游动物为食，雌鱼产附着性卵，由雄鱼守护鱼卵，生活习性不明。
