A jungle lodge at Apetina, also known as Puleowime, on the Tapanahony River in south-east Suriname. The village of roughly 500 people is largely Wayana, Trio and Aparai, and is reached only by light aircraft from Paramaribo or a four to five hour boat trip from Godo Olo. The resort has ten twin rooms with polished timber walls, four with private bathrooms, and runs forest hikes, birdwatching and cultural programmes.
