A back-to-basics nature resort at the foot of the Bakaaboto rapids on the Upper Suriname River, south of the Brokopondo reservoir and about 185 km from Paramaribo. Cabins are available with or without private bathrooms, and day guests can rent tents and cooking gear. Dugout canoe trips run to the Saamaka villages of Duwata and Bekyookndé.
