Afobaka Resort sits on the edge of the Brokopondo Reservoir in Suriname's interior, a remote eco-lodge surrounded by rainforest and reachable by road from Paramaribo in roughly 3 to 4 hours. It serves as a base for boat trips on the reservoir and trips into the surrounding jungle.
