Knini Paati River Resort is in the Sipaliwini district, roughly 200 km from Paramaribo, reached by a three-hour drive and a short boat ride. The resort sits on a two-part island in the Ferulasi Sula, a community founded by descendants of escaped slaves. Guests experience Maroon culture, river life and the surrounding interior forest.
