The Haitian Market, Mâche Unité or Eenheidsmarkt, is an open-air market on the Drambrandersgracht in Paramaribo, opened in 2017 by a cooperative of Haitian farmers in Suriname. Stalls sell root crops, hot peppers, fruit and vegetables grown by Haitian farmers. Vendors say regular customers come every day.
