Does it cost anything to list an event?

No. Listing an event on the Explore Suriname calendar is free.

How long does it take to appear?

We check every event by hand, usually within a day or two. Once approved it appears on the events page within about fifteen minutes.

The event disappears from the calendar automatically the day after it ends. You do not need to ask us to remove it.

✓ Listing an event is gratis. Concerts, festivals, markets, sports days, fundraisers, anything the public can attend.
✓ Every event is checked by a person, usually within a day or two.
✓ Once approved it is on the calendar within about fifteen minutes, with a countdown and an add-to-calendar link.
✓ It removes itself the day after the event ends. Nothing to chase.
