Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your own browser. Your PDFs and photos never leave your phone or computer, which is why this also works for contracts, payslips and ID copies.
Is a signature added here legally valid?
It places an image of your signature on the document, the same as signing a printout and scanning it. Whether that is enough depends on the document and the other party; a qualified digital signature is something else.
Why can I not open my PDF?
PDFs that are protected with a password cannot be edited here. Open the file in your PDF reader, save a copy without the password and try again.
Is there a limit on size or number of files?
No fixed limit, but very large files can be slow on an older phone. On a computer, files of a few hundred pages work fine.
